These shirts are in memory of SSgt. Slutman who was killed in action while serving with the US Marine Corps near Parwan province, Afghanistan on April 8, 2019. He was a member of the Fire Department of New York where he was assigned to 27 Truck and a Ladderman with the Kentland Volunteer Fire Department Co. 33. He is remembered as a dedicated marine, fireman, husband, and father. Members from Kentland wear these same shirts and run in honor of him and his family every year in the Some Gave ALL 5k hosted in Newark, DE.
